U bet it's gonna last till 5am! and considering history, me and Puteh definitely gonna watch it all. All of it. Buzzing!!!!!!!!!

LFC PLAYER OF THE SEASON from LFC website

I don't think, as a Liverpool fan, that u would have any doubt, even the slightest doubt that Torres is our Player of the Season??? I even downloaded Torres Chant and use it as my message tone. I don't care when ppl go, "Ha, what's that?" as long as they can caught on the words, "Torres! Torres!" from my fon haa! Here's what I got from the website:

Our record signing has already enjoyed a record-breaking debut season at Anfield - and now Fernando Torres has capped a dream year by being officially named Liverpool's Player of the Season.

The Spanish star - with 33 goals to his name already in a red shirt - was the overwhelming winner in our online poll, picking up more than three quarters of all the votes cast. Steven Gerrard - runner-up to Jamie Carragher in this category last season - again has to be content with a second placed finish, just ahead of fellow midfielder Javier Mascherano.
The top five in the Official Player of the Season vote is as follows:
Fernando Torres: 78%
Torres Chant
His Armband proved he was a red,
Torres! Torres!
You'll Never Walk Alone it said,
Torres! Torres!
We bought the lad from sunny Spain,
He gets the ball he scores again,
Fernando Torres!
Liverpool's number 9!

Gerrard: My Autobiography

Did i mention i lurve going to the bookstore and have a scanning of what's going on, and discover all the good books? Anyway, I was at Kino the other day when I walked past this big table all covered with red drapings n stuff. It was man u books promotions 20% off. It was interesting so naturally I stopped and have a look. There all over the table were all the books about the red devils, we got books about Man Utd as the team n its winnings, we got few books on Rooney, Cantona, the usual stuff and the biggest one of all is Cristiano Ronaldo's Moments. Burned my hands, I picked up and have a look.

It was really a good book. I was completely taken with all the big photos of him and his life, and the thing took me on the most was his words. He spoke of dreams, n what he wanted to be, what he's really like, and I ended up reading the 1st chapter. Honestly, I like to read about dreams, and ppl with dreams. It made sense, coz now he's a really excellent player. I don't like Ronaldo, coz I think he overreacted always, but I respected him as a player, and I think he's a great player, though most of the time I feel like urgh...geramz when he got that smirk on his face. Tolonglah. Nyway, I was so excited I phoned Ilyana straight away and told her. She had a big laugh over me falling in like to Cristiano Ronaldo, and she can't wait to tell Shikin and whoever. I just smiled, and I think whoever with a big dreams and worked to achieve it deserves my respect. Period.
The funny thing is I intended to return to Kino to finish the book. So I came, found a corner, and sat there reading the rest of the book. He's a melancholy surely. It's funny coz Beckham is a melancholy too. He was cool, and it's a really good book. I donno if I would purchase it, I mean, it's considered a Man Utd book for sure! It costs RM99.90 hah!

The book I purchased was Gerrard: My Autobiography. It was wrapped, so I asked the lady at the counter to unwrap it. The moment I opened the page, I'm sold out. I'm getting this book man! One thing: he wrote it himself! Which was the major factor coz I like it better rather have someone else writing it for him. Of course, it must edited, but still! I got that book, and didn't sleep the until dawn reading that book to exhaustion. He was even more passionate than Cristiano! I texted Ilyana about this, but she couldn't have cared less coz perhaps it's Gerrard (i juz told her G is more ambitious than Ronaldo) and she's busy worrying about her exams. But that's how I felt! The passion and the strength of his dreams are stronger than Ronaldo, and there's also the fact that I lurvveee Stevie G haha but it's really a great book. I'm halfway through it now, woke up early to continue ready. More about this later.
Like G said, 'F*** it, bring it on!'

LIVERPOOL

as u all notice 4rm my background pic in friendster, i hav stevie g lifting up d champion lge cup. so this will lead to another impression dat i am supporting liverpool fc, which is very true. d reason i don change dat background pic for like, since i participate in friendster is dat dat is my most happiest moment in champ lge in MY life. dat moment still give d warm feeling of happiness--> its like a patronous charm for me (for those potterians outhere might understand). i have been supporting liverpool fc since i was 11, and my best friend ilyana supported man u, n we met when we were 16. i got plenty of other footy frens but most of them are guys. over d years, i'd like to think me n ilyana had turned 2 be profesional fans. i mean, i don insult man u to annoy her coz they won 06/07 premiership, i'm much better than dat. n i'm grateful she's like dat too. footy profesionals would understand dat a good football is a good match played by whoever dat plays good football. agree?

Road to Moscow

i don't need to see his expression-- his whole body language says it all

Its funny how it’s more painful losing to Benfica than losing to Che or AC Milan… but I think I’m lying. It is more painful coz of the level ur in, semi final, and final. I think I’m babbling, and sigh.

In my personal opinion, its fair and square. Che’s 1st goal shouldn’t be allowed coz its offside, and their disallowed goal makes it even, coz I think it’s a valid goal. We should though get the penalty but then again the ref wasn’t very good overall. Seriously. The ref was bias a bit during the home game, and now its worse. The ref was bias towards che, and to Liverpool also. Well, dats my personal opinion, and I can change my opinion anytime. I was realllyyyyy looking forward to play Man Utd at Moscow…. Wow what a final that will be! I was totally shocked when Che was awarded the penalty, and at the moment I wish all my life that Lamps will screw up. But deep within myself, he won’t and the fact of his recent circumstances doesn’t help either. Playing in the condition Lamps was in last night is really powerful and it can really motivate you a lot, its either that or u won’t be playing at all. I think G didn’t perform well enough but that is acceptable considering he’s on a yellow already. And I’m surprised Riise was in the starting lineup. Ok but then again u learn to deal with all these if u got a Benitez always the unpredictable as ur manager. In the end its very sad, painful and

Liverpool was really great

and it’s an absolutely amazing Champ Lge season overall… which of course it would’ve been absolute heaven if we’re going to Moscow.

There’s always so many things I want to point out about last night, but I guess my heart juz isn’t innit right now… the sights of Che everywhere in Sportscenter to BBC Sports pains my heart…

When u walk

Thru the storm

Hold ur head

Up high

And don’t

Be afraid

Of the dark

At the end

Of the storm

There’s a golden sky

And the sweet silver song

Of the lark

Walk on

Thru the rain

Walk on

Thru the rain

For ur dreams be tossed

And blown

Walk on

Walk on

With hope

In my heart

And you’ll never walk alone

You’ll never walk alone

Let's achieve the best for next season!

4th oct 07 Disappointment before success?

1st defeat since champ lge final at Athens Right… so wat about this very unfamiliar feeling? Normally I’d feel v frustrated, as usual if Liverpool is struggling in matches. But I’m feeling quite phlegmatic now. We’re behind in epl again, failing to pick up points when we’re supposed to, and our champ lge campaign kicked off with no wins. Ok, so now’s d fact: Liverpool is struggling to win. Seriously. How can u lose at Anfield? At our beloved Anfield… if Liverpool keep on playing like this, rotating like silly (I’m pasrah about rotation now) they will not be champions, regardless epl or champ lge. Seriously. I’m so sad now. Its torres’ 1st season in the champ lge.

I’m starting to recognize a bit of rafa’s tactic. It seems lately liv let the opponent keep the ball until the last line of defence. Dats wat I observed anyway. Unlike before this, I think gerrard’s never playing too deep n usually our midfield is okay, juz fine, n our problem’s always seem to be our attacking options—there’s no one to pass it on too. So I expect dats gonna improve coz now we got torres upfront n kuyt being so excellent at attacking midfield or defensive striker, coz he can pass on to torres n link our central midfield to torres.

But now. Now. now. I really donno, actually quite aghast by our midfield. I know agger’s loss is immeasurable coz hyypia can’t run as fast as he used to. N carra got to work extra hard. N gerrard has not been himself lately. He’s still got class, no doubt, all star players do, but he’s a bit off now, he needs more training n games to take up his excellent form again. Oh come on gerrard! U r always our inspiration! Always the reliable Liverpool hero!

His face was so in agony n frustration during dat champ lge against Marseille, he actually covered his face with his jersey. Oh dat anguish Gerrard, I share it wif u, and to all Liverpool

fans around the world.

1st oct 2007 - Our job is to make our fans happy

“Our job is to make fans happy. When we win 45 000 go home happy. When we lose, it not only affects them, it affects their cats.”

LOL! I laughed out loud when I read this. This is a quote that I found out at the www.liverpoolfc.tv, a website that I checked almost everyday, if the wireless LAN permits me. Which is soooooo true, I juz laughed n laughed, coz it’s soooo true. When Liverpool lose, I get moody, sometimes I forgot to feed the cats. Ok, to make things clear, my cats won’t starve coz they’re a bunch of always-hungry-never-full-except-on-very-rare-occasion felines, n if they missed one meal, they can always wait on till the next one. Normally what I do when Liverpool lose, I usually go to sleep, continue muttering to myself, n lately I write something out of my emotions (which, normally is frustration from rafa’s rotation policy).

I am against the rotation policy but I think I’m getting used to this. I mean, now I’m like so nervous whenever Liverpool is going to play coz I can’t guess who’s playing n who’s not. N when dat someone dat I like is on, I’ll be like, “yes! He’s playing!” I’m obsessed wif torres, I juz can’t get enuff of him, everything he does on d pitch either amazes me or get criticized by me but most of time I adore him. So much!

23rd sept 07 - Liv v Birmingham

EPL title race

Ok fine. Wat can I say? I’m a bit cool right now, but u should know how i felt when the whistle blew after extra time at anfield last Saturday. Urgh. Pasrah jak lah. I donno y rafa’s not playing torres in d starting line up, i donno y he wanna destroy his ongoing onform, i juz have no idea y, n it made me v frustrated as i have grown soooo fond of torres. Seriously. I was so fond of torres i was down when i saw he’s not playing in d starting line up against bmigham city. Ask ilyana, she thinks gerrard’s place in my heart (chewah) is in danger coz she thinks i’m obsessed wif torres. Maybe i am. Maybe i am coz i havent get enuff of torres. I came into this epl wif HIGH hopes to seriously compete for the title, but i think if liverpool keep on playing like dat, i mean, ok, liv’s playing okay, but it’s still there’s still no finish. Like last season n the season b4 dat n d season b4 dat........ sigh i donno. To talk based on last match against bmighm city, i think mascherano is absolutely fabulous! I think i’m falling in love wif him more than ahem, sorry, but alonso’s been pretty quiet... now dat he’s injured wif agger—wat a shame, esp agger coz i think agger run faster than hyypia. I’m babbling now but u should hear me talk. It’s worse. I really donno wats going on in rafa’s head! Ok, listen, he’s rotating players. WHY?

I think he’s rotating coz he wants to find the winning form. So my next q is dat now dat he found the winning form, y would he still maintain d rotating stratgy? Pls anybody! Give me ideas! Coz i’m going outta my mind! Ok, so azid agreed wif me. It’s only logic, i mean, if u got a player who’s played well, he’s sure to be in d team, in contrast to a player who’s playing not so well. Isn’t it? It’s lumrah alam. Mun ko bagus, ko main. Simple as dat. But Dq didn’t agree wif me. He thinks dat rafa’s gotta maintain his rotation coz he started it, so he’s gotta maintain it. Asyraf said he’s maintaining rotation coz he doesn’t want his players to be tired, n injured, which i think he’s got a point, but a weak one coz i don’t agree wif him. Remember champ lge 2005? We (Liv) were playing like, every 3 days if i’m exxagerating. Still we went on to win d champ lge. I don’t agree too much on dat coz i think if d team’s on d winning form, there’s no reason for them to be tired. Coz they’re winning. Its logic, again. If u’re winning, u’ll keep on playing. Gerrard thinks so too. If rafa’s going on like this, i’m gonna start to think he’s out to get on liverpool. Slowly take d fans’ heart (winning champ lge, fa cup n all) n then crush it! It’s evil in my mind, but there u go.

The match at anfield, i think liv were playing too tactically, n more credits to bmghm city coz they defended very well. In fact too well. Torres juz can’t get d ball, n its too much wif crouch inability to handle d ball. I think voronin n kuyt are better playing as attacking midfield, n crouch shouldn’t play at all. Gerrard’s losing his individuality—he’s too much as a team player now, we’ll have to c if he’s still d hero in anfield, which i hope he still is. I think some of d kop’s love to him has been given to torres—u should hear d kop chanted his name. I mean, d attention moved a bit to torres—i hope torres can lift up to expectations, i mean, u agreed to a paycut to come to anfield. There must be something at anfield....

There’s still d matter of mourinho dat i wanna talk. he’s so amusing!

You’ll never walk alone
